Conditions of Participation
for the “Mars Hydro June Prize Draw” Competition

 

 

1. Scope of application

1.1 By taking part in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions.

1.2 Participants shall comply with the Terms of service (Terms of Service - Mars Hydro CA (marshydroled.ca)) for user submissions and/or uploads. Submissions that violate the applicable Terms of Use or guidelines shall be disqualified.

 

2. Organizer

2.1 The organizer of the competition is Marshydroled.ca (herein: “Organizer”).

 

3. Eligibility for Participation

3.1 The competition is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) who are resident of Canada.

3.2 The Organizer’s employees, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in creating or implementing the competition, are excluded from participation.

3.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf and joint submissions are not allowed. There is a restriction on one entry per person per competition.

 

4. Participation

4.1 Participation in the competition is free of charges and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.

4.2 The competition starts on June 1 2023, 00:01 and ends on June 30, 2023 at 23:59 (“Entry Period”). Submissions received outside of the Entry Period will not be considered.

4.3 To take part in the competition, the participant must fill out his/her email address for subscription, read and accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy on the page(https://marshydroled.ca/collections/sale).

4.4 Submissions containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, or any other unsuitable material will be disqualified and withdrawn by the participant.

4.5 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to the prize draw or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.

4.6 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these Conditions of Participation, tampers with the competition, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner will be determined pursuant to the procedure in section 5.

 

5. Prizes and Notification of Winners

5.1 Prize 1: Coupon
All users who participate in this subscription event will receive discount coupons that can be used on the Mars Hydro online store. The coupons will be included in the welcome email you will receive soon after you have successfully subscribed. The relevant information of the discount coupon will be included in the email. Copy the coupon code to use.

5.2 Prize 2: Mars Hydro PH And TDS Meter Combo(Include: pH meter *1, TDS meter *1)
After the event ends, a winner will be selected through a random computer program, which will take place on July 1st, 2023. If there are less than two participants, the lottery will not be conducted. We will announce the winner on the page (https://marshydroled.ca/collections/sale), and the winner will receive a notification through the email address provided at the time of participation within three working days after the end of the lottery. The winner must reply to the winning email within 7 days and provide the necessary information such as shipping address, user name and contact number for the prize shipment. Failure to provide the information within the specified time will be deemed as automatic abandonment.

6. Prize Terms

6.1 The coupons can only be used for ordering or prize redemption at Mars Hydro CA Online Store (https://marshydroled.ca/collections/sale) and are subject to the following terms:

6.2 The winners will be responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in claiming the prize.

6.3 Prizes and products are subject to availability. The Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.

6.4 Compensation of the prizes in cash, their exchange, or their transfer to other persons are excluded.

6.5 The Organizer does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize. The Prizes and products are not for resale, have no cash value and cash redemption value, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

 

7. Data Protection

By submitting an entry, participants will provide their personal information which will be processed by the Organizer as data controller and its authorized agents for the purposes of competition administration and prize fulfillment. 8. Miscellaneous

8.1 The Organizer’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.2 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage but will endeavor to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

8.3 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, command, or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

8.4 All legal relationships arising from or related to these terms and the competition are governed by Canadian law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Canadian courts. Mandatory laws of the participant's country of residence apply.
